Choroidal neovascularization is an optic nerve head drusen complication that can lead to severe vision loss. There is no prior evidence of the efficacy of intravitreal aflibercept in children in such cases. The authors report the case of a boy who was successfully treated with aflibercept with benefits lasting up to 4 years.
