REUTILIZAÇÃO E RECICLAGEMDevido ao material, argila, a argila expandida é reciclável, pois pode ser submetida ao mesmo tratamento e se tronará argila expandida novamente (SCOBRAR, 2016), se por acaso, for quebrada.Pode ser reutilizada, devido à alta resistência química e física, exceto quando estiver dentro das estruturas de concreto. Nesse caso, deverá passar pelo sistema de reciclagem de entulhos na construção civil. NORMA BRASILEIRA (NBR)A NBR NM 35 cujo título é ¨Agregados leves para concreto estrutural: especificação¨, se refere à granulometria de agregados no concreto. No entanto, não há normas dentro da ABNT para os usos em jardinagem, isolamento acústico ou térmico específicas para a argila expandida. MÃO DE OBRAApesar de sempre ser necessário uma mão de obra especializada nos trabalhos da engenharia civil, não há necessidade de mão de obra de alta especialização, especificamente, para o uso da argila expandida na construção, no entanto, como agregado do concreto, a especialidade da mão de obra está associada à confecção do concreto dentro do uso da granulometria correta desse agregado. CUSTOSA argila expandida é mais cara do que os materiais que ela substitui, de um modo geral, o que a torna viável é a diminuição do peso da alvenaria, que diminui a quantidade de concreto, de um modo geral, na obra.Para alguns serviços, como o isolamento térmico feito em algumas casas com a plantação de grama no telhado, o uso de terra tornaria difícil a execução em casas já construídas devido ao peso e tornaria a construção nova mais cara para a confecção dos pilares e vigas. Então, usar a argila expandida, gera um melhor custo benefício quando se propõe uma casa verde com isolamento térmico.Para um exemplo simples, se se decidir cobrir uma área de 7,5 m2 de um jardim com argila expandida, apenas para efeito visual, e considerando apenas uma camada de granulometria 22/32 mm, equivalente à Brita 2, de 10 cm, o volume será de 0.75 m3 serão necessários 15 sacos de 50 L de argila expandida, gerando um custo de
Introdução: A discussão sobre Educação Ambiental vem se destacando nos últimos anos. O conceito a ela atribuído é de extrema importância, pois tem forte relação entre o homem e o meio ambiente. De modo geral, a educação ambiental é o processo que teoricamente consiste em proporcionar uma compreensão de forma crítica, em um ambiente global, que de certa forma vem para desenvolver atitudes, como uma posição consciente e participativa. Objetivo: Diante disso, este estudo tem objetivo de refletir acerca da utilização do geoprocessamento quando utilizado como ferramenta metodológica aplicada à educação ambiental. Materiais e métodos: Para tanto, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática, buscando através dos descritores: “geoprocessamento”, “educação” e “meio ambiente” nos bancos de dados do Google Scholar e Portal de Periódicos da CAPES. Na busca, foi encontrado um total de 20.700 textos na base do Google Scholar e cerca de 174 artigos no Portal de Periódicos da CAPES, dos quais foram selecionados 10 artigos para esta revisão. Com relação a forma de escolha dos trabalhos selecionados, esse procedimento foi realizado através da leitura preliminar somente de resumos, com o intuito de identificar aqueles pertinentes ao tema em estudo e excluir os demais. Resultados: Com a análise dos trabalhos selecionados, observou-se que as técnicas de geoprocessamento podem ser ferramentas imprescindíveis para a educação ambiental, tendo em vista que através das geotecnologias é possível verificar uma série de aspectos ambientais como: uso e cobertura do solo, poluição da água e do ar, disposição irregular de resíduos e dentre outros atributos que podem ser valiosos aliados quando estudados integrando geoprocessamento e educação ambiental. Conclusão: Finalmente, pode-se afirmar que mediante a necessidade de ressignificar o processo de ensino e aprendizagem, as tecnologias são imprescindíveis. No contexto da educação ambiental, a inferência também é válida, evidenciando a aplicabilidade pedagógica das geotecnologias.
