Abordando desde criações literárias, contos, gêneros jornalísticos, propagandas políticas, até fabulas populares, os artigos levantam questões múltiplas que se entrelaçam no âmbito da pesquisa: Desde o ensino de leitura, de literatura em interface com outras linguagens e culturas que fazem parte do contexto nacional, como a indígena, a amazonense, a dos afros descentes até vaqueiros mineiros considerados narradores quase extintos que compartilham experiências e memórias do ofício, as quais são transcritas. Temas como sustentabilidade, abordagens sobre o gênero feminino e as formas de presença do homem no contexto da linguagem também estão presentes.Os artigos que compõem este volume centram seus estudos não apenas no texto verbal e escrito, mas nas múltiplas linguagens e mídias que configuram a produção de sentidos na contemporaneidade. A evolução da construção de novas composições literárias com uso de imagens, vídeos, sons e cores foi aqui também tema de pesquisas, assim como o uso das novas tecnologias como prática pedagógica, incluindo Facebook -mídia/rede virtual visual -e o WhatsApp -aplicativo para a troca de mensagens -. Falando em novas práticas, o estudo do modelo de sala invertida -Flipped Classroom -que propõe a inversão completa do modelo de ensino, igualmente foi aqui apresentado e estudado como proposta de prover aulas menos expositivas, mais produtivas e participativas.A literatura é um oceano de obras-primas.
