AbstractThrough the group constituted by Rafael Cansinos short novels, readers are witnesses of a new sexual language, based on woman myth. Traditional female model is recognized by the whole social structure. Facing that Modernism is a powerful player which will change all the art conventions. The relationships, in that case, are focused in odd aspects like sex and death, passion and reason, modernity and social evolution. Rafael Cansinos literature is an important paradigm of the competence of creative action in the large process of history transformation.
