El síndrome de burnout es una patología severa que se manifiesta más en los profesionales de la salud que en los de otras profesiones. El objetivo de esta investigación es determinar su prevalencia en el personal médico, paramédico y administrativo que labora en hospitales del sistema de salud pública del estado de Guanajuato. La metodología del estudio es exploratoria, descriptiva, transversal y correlacional. Se utilizó el inventario Maslach Burnout. Los resultados demuestran que el personal médico presenta un índice de 44% en agotamiento emocional, 7.1% en despersonalización y 7.1% bajo en realización personal. De la rama paramédica se observó que 36.4% presenta un índice alto en agotamiento emocional; 22.7% alto en despersonalización y 54.5% bajo en realización personal. Participaron 135 trabajadores. Se concluye que el síndrome aparece en 9.1% de los participantes. Se sugiere implementar un programa preventivo y correctivo, válido para evitar o retrasar sus manifestaciones.

La investigación en medicina tiene por objetivo generar nuevos conocimientos que ayuden al diagnóstico, el tratamiento y la prevención de enfermedades. Pero la medicina no es una ciencia exacta, sino una actividad humana heterogénea que se basa solo parcialmente en la ciencia, con varios factores no científicos que influyen en la forma de desarrollar esta actividad. El dolor, como síntoma o como enfermedad, es probablemente el trastorno que más afecta y preocupa a las personas y el que con mayor frecuencia motiva una consulta médica. A pesar de la magnitud del problema, y del interés médico y social por el dolor, la atención y el tratamiento de las personas con dolor crónico es un tema infravalorado o tratado inadecuadamente. Con base en múltiples preguntas que se plantean a lo largo del desarrollo del presente documento, nuestro objetivo es, por un lado, el de señalar que los cambios que se han producido en el manejo del dolor crónico hacen de los llamados protocolos de consenso un ejercicio obsoleto en la medicina del siglo XXI. Por otro lado, en términos de bioética, responder a la pregunta ¿se ajustan los protocolos de consenso al principio de beneficencia del paciente individual?
El objetivo del estudio es analizar el emprendimiento sostenible desde una visión Latinoamericana. puesto que, para alcanzar el desarrollo económico de las naciones Latinoamericanas con visión en el emprendimiento sostenible, es necesaria la planificación por parte de las autoridades, como un mecanismo de gestión que busca minimizar costos y maximizar beneficios, disminuir la improvisación y la subjetividad.El estudio se realizó bajo la mirada de los planteamientos de: Lederman, Messina Pienknagura, & Rigolini (2014), Kantis, Federico & Méndez (2012), Schaltegger & Wagner, (2011), entre otros. La investigación fue orientada bajo el enfoque cualitativo, de tipo descriptiva de carácter documental. La población de esta investigación quedó conformada por 220 documentos científicos de autores con destacada trayectoria en el tema estudiado de los cuales se tomó una muestra conformada por 27 documentos relacionados directamente con la situación del emprendimiento sostenible en Latinoamérica. Donde se describe la temática que se aborda mediante la hermenéutica aplicada a los documentos seleccionados para el estudio. Los resultados obtenidos reportan que la variable emprendimiento sostenible desde la perspectiva económica en Latinoamérica es de beneficio mediano producto de los múltiples factores que intervienen, de naturaleza económica, política, legal educativa, social entre otros; así como, la poca voluntad política reflejada en la desorganización de los entes de gobierno y en la falta de aplicación de políticas públicas que apunten al desarrollo emprendedor.
