A abordagem da história do racismo científico em sala, especialmente nas aulas de ciências e biologia, contribui para uma compreensão crítica e contextualizada da ciência e pode ser uma forma de articular o ensino de ciências e a educação das relações étnico-raciais. Este trabalho busca analisar como a história do racismo científico tem aparecido em pesquisas da área de ensino de Ciências, através de uma busca eletrônica utilizando palavras-chave relacionadas à temática nos anais do Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências. Resultaram da pesquisa o levantamento de 18 trabalhos, analisados através da análise de conteúdo proposta por Bardin. Estes artigos foram classificados nas categorias: Focos de Análise, Modalidades de Pesquisa e Linhas Temáticas. Ao longo das edições do evento, observa-se um aumento de trabalhos na área, que pode indicar o reconhecimento da relevância da abordagem da temática no ensino de ciências.
