ResumoO Sistema Aquífero Bauru (SAB) é um aquífero predominantemente livre, com grande extensão territorial, abrangendo parte dos estados de Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Paraná, Goiás e Mato Grosso do Sul. Na região do Triângulo Mineiro, embora pouco estudado, o SAB possui importante papel no atendimento total ou parcial às demandas de abastecimento público de água de diversas cidades, além de contribuir na manutenção das vazões dos rios na época da estiagem. Um dos principais parâmetros a ser avaliado para a gestão de uma unidade aquífera é sua taxa de recarga, e nesse sentido, o presente trabalho apresenta estimativas de recarga no SAB, para o período de agosto de 2016 a julho de 2019, em uma microbacia com área de 1,4 km², no entorno da cidade de Uberaba. Foram empregados três métodos para determinação da recarga: o método de Balanço Hídrico Climático (BHC) baseado em dados de precipitação e evapotranspiração real fornecidos pela estação meteorológica local, o método de Variação de Nível d'Água (VNA) utilizando dados de 11 piezômetros na área de estudo e o método apoiado em dados de sensoriamento remoto do sistema de satélites do Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE). O método BHC indicou para o período de estudo uma recarga potencial média anual de 902 mm e o método com dados do GRACE indicou uma recarga média anual de 517 mm. A recarga potencial calculada pelo método BHC foi utilizada como referência para determinação do valor máximo admissível para o coeficiente de armazenamento a ser utilizado no método VNA. Para o método VNA, adotou-se uma faixa de coeficiente de armazenamento para o SAB de 0,05 a 0,09, os valores médios da recarga anual variaram de 302 a 541 mm. Embora os estudos de avaliação de recursos hídricos subterrâneos utilizando dados do GRACE sejam normalmente aplicados em escalas globais/regionais, os valores obtidos de recarga média anual foram convergentes com o método VNA.
