La Competencia Digital Docente (CDD) es una necesidad real y pronto una exigencia legal para el profesorado, planteándose como un reto profesional y formativo al que cabe dar la mejor respuesta. La presente contribución analiza el portafolio en general y en formato digital como un instrumento formativo para adquirir la CDD, delimitando su sentido, contenido y aplicación, al mismo tiempo que se comentan los aspectos problemáticos que plantea su utilización. El portafolio digital, también identificado como carpeta de aprendizaje, puede ser un buen instrumento para organizar y reforzar los aprendizajes durante la formación de los docentes, coherente con las demandas de la sociedad del conocimiento, con las nuevas funciones de los profesores y con las exigencias propias de una metodología que defienda el aprender haciendo. Puede también ser el inicio del portafolio profesional, como herramienta que acompañe a los docentes en su desarrollo y progreso profesional, siempre y cuando la mejora de la práctica se vincule a una práctica evaluativa continua y a un proceso reflexivo basado en el análisis de evidencias que la misma aporta.
This communication is aimed at describing the measures implemented in the new BA of Advertising and Public Relations at the moment of redefining its curricular design to make it more appealing and according to the needs of the era of the Internet.According to Universities’ guidelines there was a need to reformulate the academic curriculum. This need for change was used as an opportunity for boosting the internationalization of the studies, increasing the approach between students and professional profiles through the implementation of compulsory internships and eventually, among others, providing the BA program with added value activities which encompass master classes, circles of conferences given by top professionals, as well as specialized workshops about technologies of the Information.Keywords re-curriculum design, involving professional companies, developing optional activites, networks development, enhancing internationalisation.
