Resumo:A detecção e o rastreamento de múltiplos objetos e múltiplos segmentos de um mesmo objeto pode ser um instrumento importante nas neurociências comportamentais, especialmente na análise de mudanças em movimentos de animais. Neste trabalho, desenvolvemos algoritmos para estas análises e os implementamos em um software open-source desenvolvido em nosso laboratório para análises comportamentais em animais experimentais. Na primeira etapa, buscamos solucionar oclusões entre objetos múltiplos a serem rastreados usando o Filtro Kalman que prediz a posição do alvo com precisão. Para tanto, empregamos uma expansão de algoritmos de detecção de contorno, que fornecem vetores de posição para filtros Kalman, com propósito de predizer a posição de objetos rastreados. Portanto, o objetivo deste trabalho é o desenvolvimento de dois módulos para o Ethowatcher: um que seja capaz de realizar as tarefas de rastreamento para múltiplos animais e outro que realize a segmentação corporal dos mesmos. Abstract Materiais e métodosO software foi desenvolvido na linguagem de programação C++ com o auxílio de duas ferramentas open-source: QT Creator, um ambiente que permite a realização de aplicações multiplataforma e interfaces gráficas, e a biblioteca da OpenCV, que permite a realização de tarefas de visão computacional.Para fazer o rastreamento dos múltiplos objetos foi desenvolvido uma expansão do algoritmo já desenvolvido [7] que faz a subtração do plano de fundo e o animal é detectado através dos contornos.A função hierarchy, disponível na biblioteca da OpenCV, é parente da função utilizada para detecção dos contornos e retorna informações sobre a topologia da
Resumo: Para alguns experimentos da área de análise de comportamento animal como a do condicionamento operante, é importante que a contingencia seja feita de forma mais rápida possível, ou seja, que o estimulo do ambiente, dado em resposta a um determinado comportamento, seja feito o mais rápido possível. [ IntroduçãoO termo condicionamento operante foi definido e amplamente utilizado por Skinner e pode ser considerado como o comportamento que produz consequência no ambiente e é afetado pelas consequências da mudança do ambiente. A contingência de reforço pode ser utilizada para ensinar um novo comportamento a um animal, para isso ela é aplicada de forma que exige gradualmente comportamentos mais próximos do comportamento-alvo.[1] Por exemplo, para um experimento de modelagem da resposta de pressão à barra com ratos, o sucesso do processo de modelagem depende da restrição do tempo transcorrido entre a ocorrência dessas respostas e o acionamento de um dispensador de água. [2] O nosso laboratório já desenvolveu um programa, o ETHOWATCHER® (distribuido gratuitamente no www.ethowatcher.ufsc.br) que realiza análises comportamentais por fontes externas e por vídeos, disponibilizando ferramentas de rastreamento e registro de descritores categóricos, cinemáticos e morfológicos do comportamento [3] . Em função da grande adesão da comunidade científica[4] a essa ferramenta, o laboratório se propôs a desenvolver um programa de código aberto, que transferisse as funcionalidades do ETHOWATCHER® para um novo ambiente de desenvolvimento, nesse caso o escolhido foi o QT [4] [5]. Para esse novo EthoWatcher já desenvolvemos um algoritmo capaz de realizar simultaneamente a aqusição de imagem e video, rastreamento de descritores cinemáticos e morfológicos e a exibção do resultado gráfico da aquisição e rasrteamento em uma interface gráfica [6]. Porém, para esse método funcionar em paralelo, o processador deve possuir multiplos núcleos, como também, existe um certo custo computacional em implementar algoritmos em paralelo. Desejavamos encontrar outras formas de acelar o rastreamento que pudessem ser implementadas junto ao algoritmo multitarefa desenvoldido. Materiais e métodosPara o desenvolvimento do projeto, foi utilizado um computador HP Compaq 8200 Elite Small Form Fatctor PC que possuía um processador Intel Core i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz e 4 Gbit de memória RAM. O sistema operacional era o Windows 7 Ultimate. A linguagem de programação C++ foi empregada através do ambiente de desenvolvimento do QT 5.3. O Ethowatcher Open Source utilizou o framework do QT, a biblioteca padrão do C++11 e a biblioteca de processamento de imagem Opencv 2.4.11.Para diminuir o tempo de processamento do rastreamento implementamos o método de câmera virtual móvel (CVM), esse método consiste em criar uma câmera virtual, que capta apenas um pedaço do quadro
