O objetivo deste trabalho foi quantificar e caracterizar morfologicamente a comunidade celulolítica de um solo após a aplicação de um biofertilizante, a fim de demonstrar se esta adubação promoveu alterações nesta população nativa e, se houve reflexo deste resultado sobre algum aspecto agronômico da planta. O delineamento experimental foi realizado em blocos casualizados com quatro repetições e três tratamentos: T1 - solo sob aplicação de biofertilizante com probiótico, T2 – com biofertilizante sem probiótico e o T3 – solo sem aplicação do biofertilizante. A cultura utilizada para a avaliação dos aspectos agronômicos foi o nabo forrageiro (Raphanus sativus L.). As células viáveis foram obtidas pela técnica do pourplate e avaliadas pela contagem das unidades formadoras de colônias (UFC). A diversidade morfológica foi obtida segundo Hofling e Gonçalves, e analisada pelo algoritmo UPGMA e análise de variância de Dunn. Os estudos morfológicos demonstraram que houve incremento microbiano promovido pela adição do biofertilizante reforçando os grupos de espécies mais resilientes do solo, como também permitiu o aparecimento de um agrupamento mais distante e significativo. Os aspectos agronômicos que mais conseguiram revelar ganhos agronômicos foram aqueles relacionados à raiz. A presença do probiótico no rejeito (T1) não interferiu na contribuição do composto orgânico deste estudo como biofertilizante, seja do ponto de vista agronômico ou ambiental. A adição do biofertilizante promoveu um aumento de mais de 18% na densidade da comunidade celulolítica e na diversidade bacteriana nativa do solo. O adubo orgânico avaliado neste trabalho promoveu melhorias significativas na formação do sistema radicular do nabo forrageiro.
