ResumoAs fibras de bambu são ricas em celulose, hemicelulose e lignina. Devido ás suas ótimas propriedades mecânicas conforme solicitação percebeu a abundância de celulose e sua respectiva orientação nas regiões dos entrenós, indicando elevado teor de celulose. Nosso trabalho tem o objetivo de extrair nanocelulose dessa região do bambu, desenvolvendo uma metodologia eficiente na sua produção. As nanopartículas foram obtidas por hidrólise ácida a 64% após lavagem com NaOH e branqueamento com H2O2 e NaOH. As caracterizações das amostras foram feitas com TG, DTG, IFTR e tamanho de partícula por Potencial Zeta. Foram observados dois eventos na análise DTG: um em 54°C correspondente a perca de água e em 330 °C correspondente a degradação da celulose. Os tamanhos das partículas em Potencial Zeta obtiveram picos em 257,1 nm (79,6%) e 67,9 nm (15,6%). Palavras-chave: Fibra de Bambu; Nanowhiskers; Celulose. PRODUCION OF CELLULOSE NANOPARTICLES BY ACID HIDROLYSIS FROM LONG BAMBOO FIBERS AbstractThe bamboo fibers are rich in cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. Owing to their great mechanical properties, as requested, it was noticed an abundance of celulose and its respective orientantion at regions of internodes, which indicate a high rate of celulose content. Therefore, our work have a goal to extracting nanocellulose from that bamboo region, developing an efficient methodology in its production. The nanoparticles were obtained by acid hydrolysis at 64% after washing with NaOH and bleaching with H2O2 and NaOH. The characterizations of the samples were made with TG, DTG, IFTR and particle size by Zeta Potential. Two events were observed in DTG analysis: one at 54 °C, what corresponds water loss and on 330 ° C corresponding to cellulose degradation. Zeta Potential particle sizes obtained peaks at 257.1 nm (79.6%) and 67.9 nm (15.6%).
