Otimização energética de uma coluna de destilação para obtenção de etanol hidratado com base nos modelos UNIFAC e UNIQUAC Energy optimization of a distillation column for hydrous ethanol based on UNIFAC and UNIQUAC models
O cajueiro (Anacardium occidentale L.) é uma cultura perene, nativa do Brasil. Diversos produtos são obtidos da cajucultura, dentre os quais e tido como principal, a castanha de caju, de onde se extrai a amêndoa, amplamente utilizada como alimento humano. A casca de castanha de caju é um importante subproduto da extração da castanha, que pode ser aproveitada para a geração de calor na indústria de alimentos. Este trabalho teve como objetivo, avaliar a viabilidade de queima de resíduos da cajucultura, mais especificamente a Casca da Castanha do Caju - CCC, para geração de calor em sistemas como caldeiras, fornos e calcinadores industriais. Os resultados obtidos neste trabalho, descrevem Poder Calorífico Superior (PCS) e Inferior (PCI) de aproximadamente 4780,00 e 4594,64 kcal/kg de biomassa, respectivamente; gerando cinzas ricas em potássio (35,13%), cálcio (18,3%), magnésio (11,25%) e fósforo (7,88), além de outros compostos inorgânicos. O reaproveitamento da Casca de Castanha de Caju (CCC), na qualidade de resíduo agroindustrial brasileiro, desempenhou grande potencial para integração energética em sistemas complexos de geração de calo.
