W artykule przedstawiono analizę możliwości wykorzystania słonecznych kolektorów powietrznych do uzyskania energii cieplnej dla energooszczędnego domu jednorodzinnego w celach grzewczych oraz ciepłej wody użytkowej dla mieszkańców. Przedstawiono rodzaje, budowę i zasadę działania kolektorów powietrznych oraz sprawność. Rozpatrzono ich zalety i wady. Określono usytuowanie budynku względem stron świata, wyznaczono powierzchnię i lokalizację kolektorów słonecznych na dachu, oraz uwzględniono ich optymalne pochylenie wzglę-dem padających promieni słonecznych. Przedstawiono bilans energii uwzględnia-jąc wartość energii napromieniowania słonecznego dla kolejnych miesięcy w roku oraz energii potrzebnej na ogrzanie energooszczędnego domu jednorodzinnego i ciepłej wody użytkowej. Do rozważań wykorzystano komercyjne zestawy sło-necznych kolektorów powietrznych SolarVenti Hybryd. Na podstawie analizy wyników, stwierdzono, że przy zastosowaniu odpowiedniej powierzchni słonecz-nych kolektorów powietrznych w warunkach północnej Polski, jest możliwość ogrzania budynku i zaspokojenia potrzeb ciepłej wody dla mieszkańców poza dwoma miesiącami zimowymi.
