The phenomenon of natural disasters has been felt in recent years and has become a global concern. This concern occurs because, the intensity of natural disasters that are increasingly frequent in various parts of the world lately, taking many victims both human, property, and other lives. Religions (including the church), however, have an essential calling and responsibility in dealing with the problem of the victims of the disaster. However, today's reality shows that religions (as well as internal church) are still involved and struggling in classical debates about teachings (dogma) about who God is: about his name, which God or religion is true, or what God teaches in which religion or church which is considered correct. Abstrak Fenomena bencana alam sangat terasa dalam beberapa tahun terakhir sampai-sampai menjadi perhatian dunia. Hal ini terjadi karena, intensitas benca-na alam yang semakin sering terjadi di berbagai belahan dunia termasuk di Indonesia akhir-akhir ini, bahkan mengakibatkan banyak korban yang berja-tuhan, selain kehilangan harta benda. Melihat fenomena ini gereja memiliki panggilan dan tanggung jawab yang hakiki dalam dalam menangani korban bencana tersebut. Namun, realitas yang terjadi adalah Agama-agama lain bahkan gereja masih saja terlibat dalam berbagai perdebatan mengenai siapa Tuhan itu, mengenai nama-Nya, Agama mana yang benar, ataupun ajaran Tuhan dari agama atau gereja mana yang dianggap benar.
Leadership is an activity that involves the leaders of where, when, and what he does. In many areas, leadership is a crucial activity advance and retreat of an organization or institution. The same thing happened with the Christian leadership, which is an activity Christian leaders wherever located. In the context of Indonesia's leadership in plural, it takes a complete leader and integrity. A visionary leader, biblical means to have the basics of leadership according to the Bible, which is the word of God which is the handle of a Christian leader. Abstrak Kepemimpinan merupakan suatu kegiatan yang melibatkan para pemimpin dimana, kapan, dan apa yang dikerjakannya. Dalam berbagai bidang, kepemimpinan adalah suatu kegiatan yang sangat menentukan maju dan mundurnya sebuah organisasi atau lembaga. Hal yang sama juga terjadi dengan kepemimpinan Kristen, yang adalah sebuah kegiatan para pemimpin Kristen dimanapun berada. Dalam konteks kepemimpinan di Indonesia yang pluralis, maka dibutuhkan seorang pemimpin yang lengkap dan berintegritas. Seorang pemimpin yang visoner, alkitabiah artinya memiliki dasar-dasar kepemimpinan yang sesuai dengan Alkitab, yang adalah firman Tuhan yang adalah pegangan seorang pemimpin Kristen.
Harmony between the people of religion in Indonesia is not only the responsibility of the government, but it is also the responsibility of all Indonesians to maintain the integrity of the nation by building an attitude of tolerance and tolerance, and harmony among the people themselves. This also applies to Christians in Indonesia, to take part and be active in building harmony between religious communities. The Bible, especially Romans 14: 1-4 provides a good example for Christians to respect and respect one another, and not to humiliate and judge one another, so that inter-religious harmony can be maintained properly. And this is the model of religious moderation that Christian scriptures uphold. This research was written using a descriptive qualitative method using journal and book sources as the main reference. The discussion was carried out by explaining the concept of harmony of religious communities in Indonesia, then briefly describing the concept from a Christian perspective. The analysis, which is a deconstruction, is specifically directed at Romans 14: 1-4 which is in the spirit of harmony both internally and among religious communities within the framework of moderation in Indonesia. Opportunities and challenges according to Indonesian conditions are discussed at the end. The conclusion is that religious harmony according to Romans 14: 1-4, stimulates Christians to further increase religious moderation in Indonesia, which, although different in terms of ethnicity, ethnicity, religion, and RAS, is tolerant and accepts others as they are, makes it less difficult for Christians to judge and humiliate others.
Abstract. The Covid-19 pandemic demands serious handling and response, not only at the level of regulation which resulted in a policy of breaking the chain of spreading the deadly virus in the social order, but also stimulating the church's attitude in alleviating the suffering of the people affected. This article is a study of Pentecostal reflective on the text of Acts 2:44-47, which was aimed to produce a theological attitude about caring for others in order to alleviate the suffering of the people, to the wider community outside the church, who are affected by the pandemic. This research was conducted by a qualitative approach with descriptive, analysis-interpretative, and comparative-argumentation methods, to gain new understanding of the text being studied. In conclusion, the rereading of Acts 2:47 proposed the hospitality of the Pentascostals, which not only show Christian kindness, but also a liturgical praxis.Abstrak. Peristiwa pandemi Covid-19 menuntut penanganan dan respons yang serius, bukan hanya pada tataran regulasi yang membuahkan kebijakan memutus mata rantai penyebaran virus mematikan tersebut pada tatanan sosial, namun juga menstimulasi sikap gereja dalam meringankan penderitaan umat yang terdampak. Artikel ini merupakan sebuah kajian reflektif kaum Pentakostal atas teks Kisah Para Rasul 2:44-47, yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sikap teologis tentang kepedulian terhadap sesama dalam rangka meringankan penderitaan umat, hingga masyarakat luas di luar gereja, yang terdampak pandemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, analisis-interpretatif, serta argumentasi-komparatif, untuk mendapatkan pemahaman baru dari teks yang dikaji. Kesimpulannya, pembacaan ulang Kisah Para Rasul 2:44-47 menggagas sikap hospitalitas kaum Pentaskostal, yang bukan hanya sekadar menunjukkan kebaikan Kristen, namun juga tindakan liturgis.
Conflict is often colouring the diversities of theology, besides church divisions, especially in the Indonesian context. In minimising the conflict, adequate knowledge is needed to understand that the diversity of theology is the essence of church unity. Apostle Paul explained the diversities in church unity using the metaphor of the body of Christ. This metaphor is inadequate to explain the differences in theological teachings as the essence of the unity of the church, especially in this postmodern era. This article offered a jigsaw puzzle metaphor to quickly understand the nature of the church’s unity in its diversity. This puzzle is a well-known game type played by many people in various age groups worldwide. By using descriptive analysis and analogy methods, it resulted in an understanding of the description of the church’s diversity through jigsaw pieces as an essential element in forming a complete and perfect image, namely the one and universal church, by arranging each jigsaw piece according to the pattern formed as the blueprint. In conclusion, theology can adopt this metaphor as a discourse in establishing church unity in the ecumenical project.Intradisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary implications: This article discusses the diversities of theological and dogmatic forms that represent every church denomination as the essence of the one and universal church. This study offers a constructive theological model to understand diversity as the essence of church unity in an ecumenical project.
