Introducción: La habitabilidad en calle y su relación con el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas puede abordarse desde los factores de logro para la resocialización, considerados como condiciones individuales, familiares y sociales que favorecen la adaptación del individuo al contexto al que retorna. Metodología: Se entrevistaron a 15 personas resocializadas, los datos se sistematizaron en el software Atlas Ti. 6.0 para su análisis desde un enfoque hermenéutico. Resultados y discusión: Se destaca a nivel individual un ajuste en la personalidad de los resocializados para las relaciones adaptativas, percepciones constructivas de sí mismo y los otros, una motivación y autoeficacia asociadas a la reconstrucción de las redes de apoyo fundadas en las relaciones positivas con miembros de la familia consanguínea, amigos o pareja, además de la importancia de la educación, el trabajo, el acceso a la salud, la cultura y la reducción significativa del consumo de drogas para mantenerse alejados de la calle.
