The present article presents the design and analysis of social interest housing in a rural zone, with bio-building materials that contribute to improving environmental conditions in the territories according the fi nal disposal of PET residues and the incorporation of alternatives cleaning systems, selfsuffi cient energy in the region-city and Alto Magdalena. This proposal regarding renewable energies and bio-building materials has been established in order to solve the problem of the "decent home" in communities are overlooked and that having to get with minimal economic resources, it has already been treated in order to get the progress in whole Latin America and the rest of the world, where people tend to seek a better quality of life in rural communities of countries such as Colombia. Keywords: Eco-Block, Photovoltaic energy, Bio-Construction, Trash, Polymer RESUMEN El presente artículo presenta el diseño y análisis de una vivienda de interés social en la zona rural, con materiales bioconstructivos que aportan a mejorar las condiciones ambientales del territorio de acuerdo a la disposición fi nal de residuos PET y la incorporación de sistemas alternativos de energía limpia autosufi ciente en las viviendas rurales de la Ciudad Región y el Alto Magdalena. Igualmente, esta propuesta de energías renovables y materiales bioconstructivos se establece para solucionar el problema de vivienda digna a las comunidades menos favorecidas y con pocos recursos económicos, aprovechando los avances sobre el particular que han tenido experiencias en América Latina y el mundo, donde se propende por una mejor calidad de vida de la población campesina en países como Colombia.
