Cadernos de Campo é a revista das alunas e alunos do programa de Pós-Graduação em Antropologia Social da Universidade de São Paulo. Editada desde 1991 pelo corpo discente do programa, o primeiro número do volume 31 traz múltiplas contribuições temáticas no âmbito das Ciências Sociais, em especial, da Antropologia: direito, doença, memória, quilombo, mídias sociais, conflitos territoriais, masculinidade, proibicionismo dentre outros. Essa diversidade reflete tanto nos campos empíricos dos pesquisadores e das pesquisadoras que contribuem neste número, quanto em suas abordagens teóricometodológicas.A seção Artigos e Ensaios traz cinco trabalhos de pesquisadoras e pesquisadores contemporâneos. O primeiro artigo, de Sofia Cevallos (2022) apresenta resultados de seu trabalho de campo realizado entre 2013 a 2016, no Equador. Nele a autora acompanha os processos de organização do povo Kichwa do Yasuní (Amazônia equatoriana) frente à intensificação da extração petrolífera nos seus territórios. O artigos têm dois objetivos principais: 1) apontar o impacto da consolidação do pluralismo legal na Constituição política equatoriana de 2008 no âmbito dos direitos dos povos indígenas e os limites em contextos extrativistas; e, 2) abordar a maneira pela qual os Kichwa têm se apropriado do discurso relativo a seus direitos como ferramenta contra-hegemônica para denunciar a violência que vivem os povos indígenas e para desestabilizar o discurso oficial do desenvolvimento entendido desde a lógica do mercado e do capital transnacional.Diego de Matos Gondim elaborando sua experiência com uma comunidade remanescente de quilombo do interior do estado de São Paulo apresenta um ensaio inspirado na proposta de Conceição Evaristo em pensar "escrevivências" e em uma construção performativa do texto a partir de pensadores e artistas como Grada Kilomba. No ensaio de Gondin (2020), as escrevivências são como um aporte complexo que imbrica memória, escrita, vida e poesia, e são trabalhadas a partir de conversações com moradores da comunidade quilombola do Mandira, buscando encarnar as memórias de seu trabalho de campo, mas também as vivências quilombolas, ultrapassando barreiras do tempo.Por sua vez, Bárbara Rossin Costa (2022) apresenta uma pesquisa etnográfica no Centro de Referência em Atenção à Saúde do Idoso, da Universidade Federal Fluminense, buscando reconstruir e administrar as memórias de pessoas diagnosticadas com a Doença de Alzheimer e/ou outras demências nessa instituição. A partir da análise das dinâmicas observadas, a autora demonstra como memórias autobiográficas e cognição são encarnadas e entrelaçadas em fluxos materiais.EDITORIAL | 2
É com grande satisfação que apresentamos o segundo número do volume 31 da Revista Cadernos de Campo, a revista das alunas e dos alunos do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Antropologia Social da Universidade de São Paulo (PPGAS/USP). Uma publicação semestral que traz contribuições ao campo da antropologia desde 1991. Neste volume, apresentamos o dossiê “Ações afirmativas e políticas do conhecimento: avaliando 10 anos da lei de cotas nas universidades públicas brasileiras” organizados por José Batista Franco Junior e Thiago de Lima Oliveira. Os editores convidaram coletivos e grupos de estudantes não brancos, organizados para refletir sobre sua trajetória e as estratégias adotadas para monitorar, promover e ampliar o ingresso e permanência de pessoas negras e indígenas em suas interseccionalidades. Os trabalhos compilados neste dossiê comemoram e refletem sobre os avanços em termos de inclussão na universidade pública, a partir de uma posição crítica que analisa o contexto onde se dão essas políticas, observando o que pode ser feito para avançar no acesso e na permanência de estudantes negros e indígenas, com ênfase na Antropologia. Como resultados, foram produzidos artigos e ensaios originais, bem como um texto para seção Conjuntura, um ensaio fotográfico para a seção Quimeras e duas entrevistas sobre a temática.
Este artigo apresenta notas teórico-metodológicas sobre o trabalho de campo com a Companhia de Teatro 1º ATO em Juazeiro da Bahia. Objetiva-se esboçar sobre a construção da etnografia e as mudanças inerentes ao trabalho do antropólogo. A partir de reflexões sobre as experiências iniciais do trabalho de campo, realizado por meio da observação participante, discute-se sobre as angústias, as inseguranças como sentimentos que emergiram da experiência do campo e redefiniram, significativamente, a pesquisa etnográfica, dando ênfase para os métodos, as técnicas e os truques necessários para seu desenvolvimento. O artigo aponta para o trabalho de campo, na Antropologia, como uma produção em construção, aberta a mudanças, que é redefinida pelos problemas que o pesquisador encontra durante o processo etnográfico. De acordo com essas experiências etnográficas, a angústia, a insegurança e o medo permitiram ao etnógrafo a construção de relações de amizade, de humor e de intimidade, construindo novos rumos para o trabalho – rumos inesperados, poderosos e criativos. O risco de errar, de se se expor, de se reinventar parecem inevitáveis para pesquisa etnográfica – são esses atos que permitem que o antropólogo seja vulnerável, corajoso e disposto a se expor ao imprevisível.
O Centro de Cultura João Gilberto, localizado em Juazeiro da Bahia, foi inaugurado em 1986 e é o principal espaço artístico em funcionamento na cidade. Ao longo dos anos, o espaço se tornou importante local de sociabilidade de jovens, principalmente, LGBTQI+ e negros em situação de baixa renda. Defende-se, neste artigo, que o Centro de Cultura João Gilberto pode ser interpretado como um “patrimônio cultural” relacionado a pessoas que são atravessadas por esses marcadores sociais da diferença, especificamente, sexualidade, gênero, raça/cor e território. Nesse sentido, explora-se etnograficamente a relação especial entre o “João Gilberto” e os artistas da região, buscando demonstrar a maneira particular que essas pessoas dão sentido, relacionam-se e se constroem no espaço minoritário.
