A dissociação é caracterizada como um transtorno psicológico no qual o indivíduo apresenta uma série de alterações, as quais envolvem a consciência, memória, identidade, emoção, percepção do ambiente, comportamento e controle de movimentos. Tem-se como apresentação clínica, geralmente, após eventos traumáticos ou de grande estresse e, sendo assim, pacientes que sofreram abuso sexual quando crianças possuem maior propensão de apresentar a dissociação. Portanto, este trabalho objetiva relacionar os transtornos dissociativos com o abuso sexual vivenciado na infância. Foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico em relevantes plataformas científicas virtuais e, após este passo, alguns artigos foram selecionados com base nos critérios de inclusão previamente definidos. Uma análise minuciosa foi feita a partir da leitura completa dos artigos escolhidos para que o trabalho alcançasse os resultados esperados. Compreende-se a presença da dissociação intrínseca aos pacientes que foram vítimas de abuso sexual na infância, bem como as características que sistematizam maior agravos de saúde ao paciente, além de haver contrastes nas análises feitas entre as fontes bibliográficas selecionadas, estabelecendo melhores consensos acerca do tema.
