O Diabetes Mellitus (DM) constitui um grupo de distúrbios metabólicos que se apresentam a partir da hiperglicemia. Por ser um agravante de saúde pública comum no Brasil, o apoio multiprofissional da atenção primária é de extrema relevância no tratamento e, sobretudo, na prevenção do agravo. Portanto, este trabalho objetiva relatar a experiência de um atendimento clínico em diabetes efetivado por acadêmicos de medicina e docente médica da atenção primária à saúde em uma Unidade Básica de Saúde do município de Marabá/PA. Uma ação de intervenção em saúde foi realizada e, a partir disto, uma análise descritiva do ocorrido foi levantada pelos acadêmicos. Compreende-se que o agravo de saúde em questão é de alta prevalência e atividades, como a realizada, associada à atuação da equipe multiprofissional, é de extrema relevância e proporciona alto impacto positivo no manejo saúde-doença.

Objetivo: Relatar os impactos ao desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor oriundos da cirurgia cardíaca corretiva utilizada em crianças acometidas por uma cardiopatia congênita. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, com artigos publicados entre 2012 e 2022, nas línguas portuguesa, inglesa ou espanhola e com conteúdo disponibilizado na íntegra. Como problema norteador da pesquisa, utilizou-se: O recém-nascido que nasce com cardiopatia congênita e realiza cirurgia cardíaca tem impacto no desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor? A pesquisa bibliográfica foi realizada entre novembro e dezembro de 2022, sendo realizada buscas nas bases de dados: PubMed, MedLine e Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS). Foram utilizados os Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS): Cardiac Surgery, Newborn e Neurodevelopmental Disorders com o operador booleano “AND”. Resultados: 15 artigos enquadrados nos critérios de inclusão e exclusão demonstraram que transtornos do neurodesenvolvimento são evidentes em um contexto pós-operatório de crianças com cardiopatia congênita. Considerações finais: A literatura atual possui limitações acerca da abordagem dos impactos estudados a curto prazo para os pacientes inclusos no estudo. Contudo, expõe que apesar dos danos inerentes à cardiopatia congênita, a cirurgia cardíaca corretiva em recém-nascidos expõe os indivíduos a mudanças fisiológicas. Estas são responsáveis por sistematizar piores desfechos ao desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor.
