Assessment of microclimates of the APA do Guariroba landscapes with the development and use of embedded technologies for sensing A B S T R A C TAltered ecosystems by anthropic action as a result of poor land use, mainly by monoculture practices and/or poorly planned pastures, result in the formation of degraded areas. This loss of vegetation cover causes disturbances and environmental imbalance, producing damage that is difficult to recover to the entire ecosystem of the region. The objective of the research was to obtain environmental information on the different microclimates of the Environmental Protection Area of the Mananciais do Córrego Guariroba, which supplies water to the municipality of Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, using sensors in stationary dataloggers. The procedures consisted in the development of meteorological mini-stations, software, placement of equipment in different areas of vegetation cover and collection of environmental data, such as air and soil humidity and temperature. The results were compared and the information allowed the generation of graphs of the data collected in the microclimates. The evaluation of microclimate analyzes demonstrates, in this research area, that the environmental impacts of soil cover removal result in imbalances, such as an increase in temperature at the site and low soil moisture, resulting in high thermal amplitudes in degraded areas and with little or no vegetation cover, indicating that non-conscious human actions affect the balance of the environment and are impactful in sensitive areas, such as springs. Keywords: degraded areas, dataloggers, meteorological ministations, microclimate analyzes, thermal amplitudes.
