<em>Metonymy, as a thinking way, on the basis of contiguity, uses one object to replace another object to activate the association for them in the same Idealized Cognitive Model (ICM). In other words, metonymy stresses on the mentally transformed process from the source domain to the target domain in the same Idealized Cognitive Model (ICM). Idealized cognitive models are those structures which help conceptualizing some certain entities, events and even abstract ideas in his mind in a specific cultural background. There are some main characteristics of idealized cognitive models. The most principal and prime point is that ICMs are idealized and cultural-based. What’s more important, ICMs are embodied because of the interaction between human beings and the outside world. Last but not least, ICMs are a kind of complex gestalt structure due to the compositions of many cognitive models. Later, as the media and Internet have developed dramatically, the merchants want to use a brief way to promote their products so that there appears the advertisement. Gradually, the advertisement gets into our life and then it is a part of our life. The characteristics of advertisement are brief and clear to attract most of the consumers. It is universally known that there is an AIDA principle in advertisements. “A” means attention. “I’ is interesting. “D” shows desire. “A” refers to action. In the end, not only can we draw the conclusions that the application of metonymy in advertisement can help highlight the features of advertisements so that it makes the advertisement more vivid and interesting, but also that the advertisements containing metonymy can give the customers great impressions as well as they can attach to the final destination to help the boss sell more products.</em>
In order to help engineers to better learn from accidents of reinforced concrete structures, accident identification and processing method, this article introduced the ideas of CBR to the accident case retrieval methods of reinforced concrete structures. At the same time, the fuzzy retrieval and knowledge index model of reinforced concrete structure accidents are presented. According to the approximate extent of construction conditions, the approximation of construction are determined, and similar cases with the current engineering cases then retrieved through the case of reinforced concrete structures, which the designer or construction workers can learn from.
China Meteorological Administration (CMA) and regional centers have developed their own Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) operation systems, which work process is complicated, including data preprocessing, analysis, model forecast, post-processing, visualization and other aspects but were lack of a unified management and monitoring. Based on the demands of NWP operation systems, this article gives a detailed description of research and development of the numerical weather prediction operation management system based on work flow. This system has achieved full operational management and monitoring the NWP operation systems and HPC systems of national and regional center, through interaction visual interface directly display the working process of numerical weather prediction models, and when there is a fault, timely provision of graphics and SMS messages warning function. This system has greatly improved work efficiency, provided guarantee for the stability of numerical weather forecast.
The reason of most accidents in the construction engineering are due to the complicated nature of concrete composition, shortcomings during the construction process, equipment and many other reasons. Reinforced concrete quality account for a large percentage of engineering accidents. In this paper, reinforced concrete structures accident type and its causes were classified and summarized through the summarizing and sorting of different cases, and the relationship between them was analyzed and expounded.
Performance evaluation is an important part of simulated training, and also a challenging project in the development of simulators for aerial mechanist training. In this paper, the evaluation method is explained in detail, and then the evaluation model is put forward, and finally the application of comprehensive fuzzy evaluation is discussed in this paper.
