In this research study, we modified hydroxyethyl cellulose to obtain hydrophobically associating hydroxyethyl cellulose, and grafted it onto the surface of nano-calcium carbonate to obtain a graft copolymer.
The residual viscosity of the NBC gel drops below 100 mPa s while the temperature increases to 150 °C, but when the temperature increases above 160 °C, the residual viscosity of the NBC gel drops below 50 mPa s.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
