Slope protection is to ensure the security of levee foundation engineering. This article take the actual project--the Bird Island Park of Shenyang City hinge joint concrete block slope,as an example, use of FLAC software and strengthen reduction method, calculated by 29°slope angle, 45kg block the effect slope stability factor of safety. In view of the different parameters (slope, block quality, bulk density, cohesion force, internal friction angle), discussion of various parameters on slope stability of safety coefficient, and obtained the best slope and block quality combination, so as to the slope protection design and application reference.
The superfine sand concrete application in our country has a history of more than half a century. Although we have a certain understanding about the superfine sand concrete, there are few studies of superfine sand concrete interface. This experiment made up different water-cement ratio superfine sand concrete, and used scanning electron microscope to observe the secondary interface structure, the product of interface C-S-H gel had been carried on by the energy spectrum analysis. Results show that the secondary interface microstructure of the low water-cement ratio concrete is denser than high water cement ratio, and also have certain effects on macroscopic compressive strength; C-S-H gel calcium silicon ratio in the secondary interface is between 1.5 and 2.1.
Microstructural studies are very important because of their decisive role in the properties of advanced ceramics. During the sample preparation process, it is critical to grind, polish, and etch the fracture surface of the ceramic for effective microstructure observation. Here, a sample preparation process is proposed by directly etching the fracture surface of the ceramic without the time-consuming grinding and polishing. We used this method to create micrographs for MgAl2O4, Al2O3, and ZrO2 ceramics with an average grain size less than 1 μm; these were clearly resolved by SEM. More importantly, the damage resulting from grinding or polishing is minimized and SEM images taken from samples prepared via this new method are closer to the original morphology of the microstructures. This method also greatly simplifies the sample preparation process and is especially suitable for fine-grained ceramics.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
