Measurement and data-logging of temperature are important in industrial application. This paper discusses the implementation of monitoring temperature of cylinder hydraulic of a heavy equipment such as excavator in the field. For monitoring the temperatures, DS18b20 sensors are used to sense the hydraulic arms in the excavator. Due to sensing moving parts such as hydraulic arms, a WiFi technology is used to transmit temperature’s data to a browser. The ESP-NOW technology from Espressif ESP32 is chosen to minimize the electrical energy drained from the Lipo’s battery. Data-logging is done in a browser environment, by using javascript, websockets, css, and html technologies. The result shows that the usage of ESP32 in monitoring the temperatures, can be used in the real-time mode for the monitoring of excavator operations. And the 20000mAh battery-based system can last for approximately a month by using ESP-NOW technology from the Espressif.
Nowadays, one of industrial main problems is the flexibility of machines to be customized since they are designed based on certain standard. This research develops software for CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machine in order to execute the Newton Interpolation using Python. The platform used in the CNC machine is EMC (Enhanced Machine Control) and GUI (Graphical User Interface) AXIS on the operating system Linux Ubuntu. The Newton interpolation is used to create a curve based on several point determined by user. By converting this curve into G-Code, which could be read by CNC machine, the machine can move according to curve designed by user. This research is an initial study to customize the CNC machine and will continue to fulfill the user needs. This research obtained a program that is able to run well up to 4 input pairs. The higher number inputs will cause the oscillation in the interpolation curve.
Abstract.One big issue facing the industry today is an automated machine lack of flexibility for customization because it is designed by the manufacturers based on certain standards. In this research, it is developed customized application software for CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machines using open source platform. The application is enable us to create designs by means of fractal patterns using L-System, developed by turtle geometry interpretation and Python programming languages. The result of the application is the G-Code of fractal pattern formed by the method of L-System. In the experiment on the CNC machine, the G-Code of fractal pattern which involving the branching structure has been able to run well.
Abstract.One of the most important topics in control system is DC Motor. At this research, a positioning control system for a DC motor is investigated. Firstly, the DC Motor will be paramaterized to get the transfer function model, in order to be simulated in Matlab, and then implemented in a C2000-ARM microcontroller from TI (Texas Instrument). With this investigation, students in control system theory will be able to understand the importance of classical control theories, in relation to the real world implementation of the position control for the DC Motor, escpecially the importance of Anti-Windup technique in real-world implementation.

Hasil utama dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah pembuktian bahwa teknologi InstaSPIN-Motion dari Texas Instruments, dapat diterapkan pada mesin CNC yang telah kita buat dengan dana dari Hibah Dikti. Tulisan ini juga mengulas tulisan-tulisan ilmiah sebelumnya tentang topologi dan algoritma kontrol dari motor BLDC. Hasil dari percobaan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan kit evaluasi (yaitu: ''The Low Voltage High Current Evaluation Kit'' [4]) dari Texas Instrument, juga dilaporkan dalam tulisan ini.
