The relationships between adjustment problems and self-efficacy were investigated in a sample of 80 gifted students who were studying in 7th-10th enrolled at Salt Pioneer Center, using the adjustment problems scale and self-efficacy scale. The results indicated that the gifted students showed mid levels of adjustment problems. In addition, results showed a significant correlation between total scores of adjustment problems and self-efficacy. It showed there are indicated that no differences between self-efficacy and gender, also it is not statistically significant between adjustment problems and variables (gender and class) of the gifted students, but significant difference between interaction class and gender attributed to male and 8th class.
Aims: This study aimed to identify the attitude of teachers working in gifted and ordinary schools, towards creative thinking in Tafila governorate, and the differences between attitudes pertaining creative thinking according to variables of experience, gender, specialization and type of school. Study Design: This study used the analytical descriptive design.
Place and Duration of Study:The study was conducted at Tafila Governorate -Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; in the first semester of the academic year 2012/2013. Study Sample: The study Sample consisted of (58) male and female teachers of ordinary schools, and (60) male and female teachers from gifted schools in Tafila governorate.
Methodology:The study sample included 118 male and female teachers, for the first semester of the academic year 2012/2013. It was divided into two groups; one group was selected purposively of teachers working in King Abdullah II School for Excellence and the Pioneer Center for gifted students, and it consisted of (60) male and female teachers, and the other group has been selected randomly from ordinary schools, it consisted of (58) male and female teachers. In order to collect data about the attitudes towards creative thinking, the researcher used in the study a questionnaire prepared by the researcher himself to identify the attitudes towards creative thinking. The present study aims to determine the relationship of the families of children with childhood behavior disorders. In a sample of 263 students in the age group of 10-12 years studying in 4 th , 5 th and 6 th standards in the elementary schools of Tafila city. The researcher analyzed the family relationship of the three groups of families based on two factors such as cohesion and conflict. Investigator also compared these factors in the families of children with no behavior disorders, with that of families of children with mild and severe behavior disorders. The results of the study reveals that, a high cohesion and less conflict is found among the families of children with no behavior problems and low cohesion and conflict in the families of children with severe behavior problems.
