This paper makes some experiments on steel wire rope terminal fixture connection in strengthening with steel wire mesh and polymer mortar, discusses the performance of terminal fixture connection and the analysis of the experiments and dates show that: The connection of the three aluminium-alloy swaged ferrules with the same arranged for steel wire rope or two wire rope grips meet the design requirements of rules and regulations, and three wire rope grips can give full play to the high tensile mechanical performance of steel wire rope.
Four I-section specimens have been produced, and epoxy resin structural adhesive and bolts have been used to combine the cold-formed thin-walled C steel with bamboo-wood composite plate, through which the cooperative work performance of the combined column was detected, and the failure mode and mechanism were explored. The feature of load vs. deflection and load vs. strain was also analyzed. Then stiffness and calculation formula of bearing capacity were proposed. The results show that the unitary mechanical behavior and plastic properties are very good, and the combined column is divided into three stages from loading to failure, including adhesive cracking, local area degumming and failure. And the stiffness accords with double slash model in serviceability
Depth image based rendering (DIBR), which is utilized to render virtual views with a color image and the corresponding depth map, is one of the key procedures in the 2D to 3D conversion process. However, some troubling problems, such as depth edge misalignment, disocclusion occurrences and cracks at resampling, still exist in current DIBR systems. To solve these problems, in this paper, we present a robust depth image based rendering scheme for stereoscopic view synthesis. The cores of the proposed scheme are two depth map filters which share a common domain transform based filtering framework. As a first step, a filter of this framework is carried out to realize texture-depth boundary alignments and directional disocclusion reduction smoothing simultaneously. Then after depth map 3D warping, another adaptive filter is used on the warped depth maps with delivered scene gradient structures to further diminish the remaining cracks and noises. Finally, with the optimized depth map of the virtual view, backward texture warping is adopted to retrieve the final texture virtual view. The proposed scheme enables to yield visually satisfactory results for high quality 2D to 3D conversion. Experimental results demonstrate the excellent performances of the proposed approach. key words: depth image-based rendering, domain transform, adaptive smoothing, stereoscopic image generation
In this paper, we research wire mesh and polymer mortar strengthening of the wire rope end which use MLJ building structural adhesive anchorage in experiment. This text discusses the building structural adhesive for wire rope anchorage performance, through the experiment and data analysis showed that the modified structural adhesive anchorage cable can give full play to the wire rope high strength properties.
This paper studies the mechanical behavior of Carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) in one-way reinforced concrete slabs, and the relation of CFRP and steel bar strain under the uniformly distributed load. Based on the theoretical analysis of the constitutive relationship, the analysis calculation model was built by using the ABAQUS software. Data analysis demonstrates that under the same conditions the load-strain curves of CFRP and steel bar are similar, which indicates that the mechanical cooperation performance of CFRP and steel is mutually beneficial. The load-strain curve of CFRP and steel bar is linear before the steel bended, and the curve is approximately linear after the steel bended. In the reinforced stage, the curve is again linear and the strain rate of the CFRP and steel bar increases constantly with the increase of load. This result is valuable for related studies.
