VEB Cherniefaserwerk ,,Friedrich Engels", DDR -1832 Premnitz Analytische Methoden fur die quantitative Bestimmung schwefelhaltiger Bausteine von Polymeren, insbesondere Acrylnitrilcopolymeren, werden beschrieben. Diese basieren einmal auf der Verbrcnnung im Sauerstoffkolben und nachfolgender maBanalytischer Bestimmung des dabei gebildeten Sulfats rnit elektrochemischer Endpunktindikation, bzw. auf der Rontgenfluoreszenzanalyse. Einzelheiten der Arbeitsweisen und Reproduzierbarkeitskennwerte fur den Bereich 0,l bis 0,5% S werden angefuhrt. Quantitative determination of sulfur-containing units of acrylonitrile copolymersAnalytical methods for the quantitative determination of sulfur-containing units in high polymers, especially acrylonitrile copolymers, are described. They are based on the oxygen-flask-combustion followed by volumetric estimation of sulfate with electrochemical end-point detection, or application of x-ray fluorescence analysis. Experimental details and reproducibility values for the 0,l -0,5y0 S range are given.
