Dentro del área biomédica el control de las variables de los procesos es fundamental, debido a que un pequeño error influye directamente en la salud de las personas, no existe margen de error, por ejemplo, en la aplicación de fototerapias el control de la intensidad de radiación ultravioleta determinará la efectividad de los tratamientos. Debido a esto, en el presente trabajo, se aborda el diseño y construcción física de un prototipo de cama de fototerapia, la cual fue construida mediante impresión 3D, además de un sistema de control para la regulación luminosa ante perturbaciones externas. Se realiza el control de luminosidad mediante la implementación de una acción de control PID digital sobre un microcontrolador ATmega328P132 que otorga la respuesta a una lámpara LED la cual varía la intensidad de acuerdo a la diferencia detectada entre el nivel deseado para el tratamiento y el valor detectado mediante un sensor de luminosidad.
