Este artigo apresenta o resultado de uma pesquisa de Iniciação Científica realizada no âmbito do curso de Design Gráfico, em parceria com o Programa de Pós-Graduação em Design, da Universidade Anhembi Morumbi. O estudo deu-se entre novembro de 2021 e outubro de 2022 e seu objetivo foi o de refletir se um gênero tão comum na internet, como o meme, tem a potencialidade artística para ser incluído como um tipo de manifestação no âmbito da literatura digital. Para isso, iremos tomar como estudo de caso o perfil brasileiro do Instagram, Greengo Dictionary, que utiliza imagens e textos cujos sentidos, bem brasileiros, são traduzidos para o inglês de maneira irreverente e bem-humorada. Classificaremos, então, posts realizados pela página e observaremos sua identidade visual para analisarmos o perfil. Demonstraremos, por fim, que apesar da aparente aleatoriedade de temas e estilos, há um planejamento que configura o “jeito Greengo de ser”, em uma longínqua evocação do estilo de autor, por meio da criatividade vernacular e da multiplicidade colaborativa.
