Objetivo: Analisar tempos de atividades de enfermagem obtidos com o Instrumento de Classificação de Pacientes Pediátricos (ICPP) e Nursing Activities Score (NAS). Metodologia: Estudo transversal, descritivo e exploratório realizado em unidade de internação cirúrgica pediátrica. A coleta de dados foi realizada utilizando os dados dos prontuários dos pacientes obtidos por meio de visitas diárias, durante três quinzenas. Os dados organizados foram analisados por meio da estatística descritiva. Resultados: A amostra contou com 155 prontuários e os pacientes eram predominantemente meninos de 1 a 6 anos, hospitalizados por afecções espleno hepáticas e gastrintestinais ou geniturinárias. Quanto ao ICPP a pontuação revelou pacientes requerendo cuidados de enfermagem, predominantemente em nível intermediário. Em relação ao NAS, a pontuação representou a necessidade de cuidados de enfermagem intensivos. Conclusão: Os dois modelos de classificação não se mostraram equivalentes quanto à quantidade de horas necessárias para assistência em pacientes cirúrgicos pediátricos.
