This paper describes the results of research into British art therapists' work with children and young people who had been sexually abused. A postal questionnaire enquired about individual and group therapies, the qualities of the therapeutic relationship and the ways that art materials were used within this. Art therapists' views were sought concerning the appropriateness of images as evidence in court.
