Palabras clave amor romántico; metáforas; repertorios interpretativos; violencia de género a b s t r a C t The present article analyzes the relationship between the interpretative repertoire of romantic love and gender violence. We conducted eight life stories with young people between 25 and 35 years old (3 boys and 5 girls), focused on their relationships. We have resorted to discourse analysis, specifically the analysis of interpretative repertoires. This approach has allowed us to identify, characterize and analyze the interpretative repertoire of romantic love. The results show how romantic love's interpretative repertoire guides to appropriate ways of feeling, helping heterosexual, romantic, monogamous and long lasting relationships that are the basis for patriarchy, generating the conditions of possibility for the emergence and maintenance of gender violence.
Palabras clave ABSTRACTIn this qualitative study, 94 women who were or had been in prison were interviewed. Their life stories were analyzed in order to answer the question: why women commit crime and why they give up crime? From the analysis of the thematic content were found three main categories: gender violence, affective bonds and care. It was found that having suffered gender violence can be an explanatory factor of the crime, the affective bonds and the care of the other can be motivating factors towards the crime and towards the abandonment of the same. The findings suggest that women have been incarcerated since before entering prison.
We present a theoretical and epistemological reflection on Forum Theater's potential as a Research Tool. Our presence on social action and research has led us to a double reflection on qualitative research's limitations on the affect studies and the Forum Theater's potential as a research tool to tackle research about affects. After some specific experiences in action research (qualitative research on romantic love and gender violence, and the creation process of the Forum Theater "Is it a joke?"), we explore Forum Theatre's possibilities as a research tool in the feminist epistemology framework.
Bauman coin the term liquid modernity to conceptualize and visualize the new form that we use to implicate and link us interpersonally. In this article we have wanted to analyze this transition, by means of discourse analysis, in concrete of the interpretative repertories of the searching love program Boys and Girls issued on the YouTube platform, identifying the characteristics that make up the liquid love repertoire, in both cases, theoretical and rhetorical elements. The analysis we have carried out, has allowed to identify the conflict, coexistence, complementation and fusion between the romantic and liquid love, creating a phenomenon that we have named "Romantic Consumption". Likewise, from gender analysis, both romantic and liquid practices involve a subordination and objectification of the feminine before the masculine. In both practices, women are unprovided of their agency capacity, and they are presented as objects waiting to be conquered in romantic love, and consumed in liquid love.
In this article, we're going to identify and analyse interpretive repertoires of the youngers on their speeches about love. From a social constructionist and gender perspective, we perform an analysis of the speech, in concrete of the interpretative repertoires that appear in the program Boys and Girls issued on the YouTube platform in Spain. The analysis of the used repertories by the participants of the program-youngers in ages understood between 14 and 19 years old-has allowed to identify the preference by the use of romantic love repertoire, manifested by the use of figures of speech and characteristic strategies, repertoire guide about suitable ways of feeling, producer and supporter of discriminatory practices that situate the sexualized feminism subordinate to the masculine, encouraging and allowing this inequality between men and women.
