El objetivo de este artículo es comprobar si la Escala de Percepción de Acoso Sexual (EPAS) cuenta con adecuadas propiedades psicométricas de validez y confiabilidad. El estudio es de tipo instrumental con diseño transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 215 mujeres salvadoreñas, la media de edad de la muestra fue de 26.51 años con una desviación estándar de 7.55. Los resultados revelaron que la escala cuenta con adecuados índices de validez de constructo. El Análisis Factorial Exploratorio (AFE) comprobó la existencia de un modelo de tres dimensiones, y el Análisis Factorial Confirmatorio (AFC) evidenció que la escala cuenta con adecuados índices de ajuste. Asimismo, la escala cuenta con adecuados índices de confiabilidad. Se concluye que el instrumento cuenta con adecuadas propiedades psicométricas de validez y confiabilidad para ser utilizado en estudios de esta temática en el contexto salvadoreño.
