Introdução: A postura pode sofrer modificações ao longo do tempo perdendo a sua configuração original e a sua capacidade estrutural funcional fisiológica. Uma alteração bastante comum é a hipercifosetorácica. Esta deformidade ântero-posterior da coluna vertebral tem acometido indivíduos na fase de crescimento cada vez mais precocemente devido aos mais variados aspectos, como: psicológicos, traumáticos, congênitos, tecnológicos e de hábitos adquiridos. A fisioterapia pode contribuir reduzindo os danos causados por esta deformidade e melhorando a qualidade de vida do indivíduo portador desta afecção. Objetivo: Realizar um estudo de revisão integrativa visando comprovar a eficácia dos tratamentos fisioterápicos para a hipercifose torácica. Metodologia: Estudo realizado através de uma revisão de literatura integrativa, no período de agosto a setembro de 2012 na qual foram analisados os periódicos existentes na biblioteca das faculdades INTA. Foram selecionados os artigos que abordavam os tratamentos fisioterápicos para hipercifose torácica. Resultados: Dos 20 artigos encontrados sobre os tratamentos fisioterápicos da hipercifose, somente 7 artigos atenderam aos critérios de inclusão previamente estabelecidos. Dos artigos analisados o tratamento mais utilizado foi a técnica do Isostretching, sendo capaz de melhorar a capacidade funcional, melhora do alinhamento da coluna vertebral torácica independente do número de sessões, fazendo com que ocorra uma redução da angulação cifótica e melhora das retrações das cadeias musculares. Conclusão: Desta forma concluise que dentre os tratamentos utilizados a técnica de Isostretching, foi a que apresentou os melhores resultados e foi a mais utilizada. Entretanto ressalta-se que todos os tratamentos encontratos tiveram bons resultados.
