TECHNICAL NOTES 759The solution of Eq. (6) for a given ml/M is denoted as k D . Table 1 presents values of k D for given ml/M, and Fig. 1 plots 0"(0)/(7(0)cj for a wide range of k.
A parametric study of the three-dimensional skewed shoc k wave/laminar boundary-layer interaction has been performed at a Mac h number of 2.25. The data indic ate a great similarity in the behavior of the laminar and turbulent interac tions. In parlic ular, they both exhibit a région of conical flow and satisfy similar upstream influence corrélations. A study of the behavior of the flow wilh increasing shock strengths has led to the hypothesis of a graduai évolution of the flow structure.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
