AbstrakPrevalensi obesitas anak di dunia maupun di Indonesia semakin meningkat sehingga menjadi masalah kesehatan yang harus dihadapi. Daerah urban yang merupakan pusat perekonomian menyebabkan prevalensi obesitas anak lebih tinggi dibandingkan daerah rural. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor risiko obesitas pada anak perkotaan di beberapa sekolah dasar kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode potong lintang dengan jumlah subyek 176 anak sekolah dasar di perkotaan. Pengukuran status antropometri ditentukan berdasarkan indeks masa tubuh menurut umur yaitu obesitas apabila z-score >+2SD berdasarkan WHO 2007. Kuisioner tentang faktor risiko diisi dengan metode wawancara. Analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis univariat, bivariat, dan multivariat. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan prevalensi obesitas anak perkotaan sebesar 17%. Dari keseluruhan faktor risiko dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor yang tidak dapat dimodifikasi, yaitu memiliki orang tua gemuk berpengaruh terhadap kejadian obesitas dengan risiko 6 kali dibandingkan anak yang tidak memiliki orang tua gemuk. Dari faktor yang dapat dimodifikasi, anak yang memiliki frekuensi makan berat lebih dari 3 kali berpotensi 2 kali terkena obesitas. Konsumsi susu yang sering sesuai dengan Dietary Guideline for American 2015 memiliki faktor protektif dibandingkan dengan anak yang jarang mengkonsumsi susu.
