O presente estudo tem por objetivo identificar e descrever mecanismos ligados à textualidade denominados operadores argumentativos e processos de referenciação, no gênero Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso, doravante TCC. Temos por finalidade observar em que medida esses elementos auxiliam o escrevente a posicionar-se argumentativamente, atendendo ao seu projeto comunicativo, na condição de sujeito pesquisador do objeto por ele investigado. Para tanto, recorreremos à perspectiva dialógica da linguagem, tomando por base os postulados teóricos de Mikhail Bakhtin (2003) no que diz respeito à noção de gênero discursivo. Na perspectiva bakhtiniana, a linguagem é ideológica e dialógica por essência, e a enunciação, resultado da interação verbal de sujeitos num dado contexto social e histórico, atualiza e estabiliza a língua por meio dos gêneros discursivos. A partir desse posicionamento, objetivamos analisar como os escreventes dos TCCs investigados, concluintes de cursos de graduação, conseguem empregar os elementos referenciais necessários para auxiliar no cumprimento da função argumentativa para a produção do gênero TCC. Para essa investigação, coletamos três TCCs de áreas distintas, sendo um da área de Ciências Humanas, um da área de Ciências Exatas e outro da área de Ciências Biológicas, a fim de investigar como ocorre o emprego dos elementos referenciais e dos operadores argumentativos. Utilizamos uma metodologia de base qualitativa, baseando-nos em pressupostos teóricos da Linguística Textual (LT), em estudos ligados aos gêneros textuais, à referenciação e aos operadores argumentativos, tomando por base as investigações de Bentes (2012), Koch ([2004a] 2017), Bakhtin (2003), Motta-Roth e Hendges (2010), Koch e Elias (2016), Cavalcante (2012; 2014), Mondada e Dubois ([1995] 2016) e Apothéloz ([1995] 2016). Traçamos, também, o delineamento das sequências textuais, conforme pressupostos de Jean-Michel Adam (2010), e discussões em Bonini (2005) e Ribeiro (2012). Partimos da hipótese de que os escreventes dos textos investigados podem, mesmo na última etapa de seu curso de graduação, apresentar dificuldades no emprego de tais elementos. A análise de nossos dados revelou que os operadores argumentativos, quando empregados, foram responsáveis pelo cumprimento das sequências argumentativas; ademais, notamos que os elementos referenciais, também quando empregados, sobretudo em suas formas nominais, cumpriram a função de orientar argumentativamente a uma dada conclusão, tanto na função de recategorização anafórica quanto na de encapsulamento. No entanto, constatamos que a ausência ou escassez desses recursos comprometeram o cumprimento do propósito argumentativo esperado para o gênero. Verificamos, portanto, que orientar o discente de graduação sobre esses mecanismos pode auxiliá-lo, ao instrumentalizá-lo com estratégias que ix corroborem para a apresentação escrita de sua pesquisa, cumprindo o teor argumentativo esperado no gênero TCC.
Neste artigo, aborda-se aspectos comunicacionais da sociorretórica e mecanismos ligados à textualidade denominados operadores argumentativos, no gênero monografia. Observa-se em que medida esses elementos auxiliam o escrevente a posicionar-se argumentativamente. Para a execução dessa investigação, coleta-se uma monografia da área de Ciências Humanas, do curso de Comunicação Social, e utiliza-se uma metodologia qualitativa, com base em pressupostos teóricos da Linguística Textual. As análises revelam a execução de movimentos sociorretóricos pelo escrevente e que os operadores argumentativos foram responsáveis pelo cumprimento das sequências argumentativas utilizadas. Verifica-se, portanto, que orientar o discente de graduação sobre esses mecanismos pode instrumentalizá-lo com estratégias que corroborem para cumprindo o teor argumentativo esperado no gênero monografia.
