A adoção de medidas sustentáveis no ramo da construção civil é de crucial importância para assegurar o abastecimento de materiais para as gerações futuras. O setor construtivo mostra-se como um grande consumidor dos recursos naturais existentes no planeta, além de produzir boa parte dos resíduos existente, contribuindo para a escassez de matéria prima e poluição do meio ambiente. Portanto, o presente estudo tem o objetivo de analisar e comparar através de revisão bibliográfica, quais as medidas adotadas por diferentes países para controle e gerenciamento de resíduos de construção civil (RCD), Por fim, conclui-se que alguns países mostram-se mais comprometidos com o cumprimento de metas relacionadas a reciclagem e reutilização deste materiais. Contudo, observa-se que a falta de cumprimento da legislação vigente é um dos desafios a serem alcançados para a maioria dos países, assim como a deficiência no controle estatístico das proporções que são produzidas e recicladas.
O concreto permeável contribui para o desenvolvimento sustentável. Utilizado na pavimentação externa contribui de forma positiva para amenizar os impactos do escoamento superficial das águas pluviais, pois permite que a água da chuva infiltre totalmente ou parcialmente no solo, aliviando o sistema de drenagem e diminuindo a velocidade da água. Esse projeto de revisão bibliográfica tem como objetivo avaliar qual a melhor dosagem e os melhores métodos de substituição dos agregados da reciclagem de resíduos da construção e demolição em concreto permeável em conformidade com a norma NBR 16416/2015. Visa buscar um estudo granulométrico desse resíduo e uma melhor proporção de substituição parcial do agregado em concreto permeável para continuação do estudo na fase experimental. O uso do agregado de resíduos de construção e demolição contribuirá para a destinação correta dos resíduos provenientes da construção civil. O estudo resume os ensaios e resultados de vários autores sobre o tema concreto permeável. Estruturou em tópicos que avalia a granulometria do agregado, absorção de água, resistência à compressão, resistência à tração, permeabilidade e microestrutura.
