A multi-modal survey of parents with dis/abilities who had experience attending their children's individual education plan (I.E.P) meetings was distributed via Facebook targeted groups, other groups, personal messages, and email. 109 responses appropriate to the study were collected over 10 weeks. Three distinct groups of parents were defined: those who had obvious dis/abilities or regularly disclosed them prior to the IEP process (Known dis/abilities), those who self-disclosed during the IEP (Disclosers), and those who did not disclose (Non-disclosers).
