Patients do present with polytrauma and those who are hemodynamicallyunstablehaveahighmorbidityandmortality,eveninadvancedhospitalsettings. Followingisthecasereportofa17-yr.oldboy,whowasinvolvedinaroadtrafficaccidentwith polytrauma,presentedtoatertiarycarehospitalinaremoteisland,withGradeIV-Vliverinjuryand developedARDSinpost-operativeperiod.Thepatientwasmanagedsuccessfullyanddischarged.
