Este trabalho objetiva apresentar o mapeamento dos escritos públicos presentes no panorama franco-brasileiro como resultado da investigação de como e se a paisagem linguística da fronteira expõe as estratégias político-linguísticas que são adotadas pelos falantes de Português e Francês em contato na região e como estas estratégias operam na modelagem da ecologia linguística. Além disso, o trabalho visa classificar e categorizar os escritos públicos de Oiapoque e elaborar um cenário dessas políticas in vitro e in vivo. As análises propostas são realizadas sob as perspectivas teórico-metodológicas provenientes das discussõe Ecolinguísticas de Haugen (1972), Couto (2002-2018), Albuquerque (2020), associadas às proposições sobre Política Linguística de Calvet (1996 -2002), Savedra e Lagares (2012), Spolsky (2016), bem como sobre a constituição do meio ambiente enquanto espaço que reflete as dinâmicas linguísticas, com as abordagens sobre a Paisagem Linguística de Shohamy e Gorter (2009) que são fundamentais para o entendimento sobre os ecossistemas e suas espécies linguísticas. É um trabalho de cunho quanti-qualitativo e descritivo efetivado a partir da coleta imagética dos usos da língua francesa no lócus da pesquisa. De modo geral, percebeu-se que a paisagem linguística é por si só uma das estratégias de interação comunicativa ilustrando os usos cotidianos das línguas no ecossistema. Observou-se ainda que as placas tendem a ser o marco referencial dessas estratégias; é uma paisagem plurilinguística, concentrada, principalmente, na parte central da cidade e tende a ser oriunda de acordos pessoais, com finalidade informativa e com característica local, refletindo o bilinguismo endêmico da região.
