Background: With high levels of obesity and related illness, improving the health of the nation is a major public health concern. This study aimed to identify factors that prevent healthy eating among doctors, and that are associated with satisfaction with catering services.
With the increasing trend of childhood obesity, concerns have been raised about the influence of food advertising on children's eating habits. This paper describes a content analysis of food advertising on UK terrestrial children's television and of the nutritional quality of the food products advertised.
