Heather James is associate professor of English and comparative literature at the University of Southern California. She is author ofShakespeare's Troy: Drama, Politics, and the Translation of Empire(1997), and her most recent essays and reviews have appeared in theShakespeare Quarterly, English Literary History, and the Renaissance Quarterly.
