Employee perceptions of organizational climate were believed to be influenced by organizational and individual differences factors and their interaction. One hundred and forty managerial level employees in a medium-sized bank cooperated in a study of the extent to which climate perceptions could be accounted for by measures of personal and organizational variables. The findings failed to support the expected interaction of personal and organizational measures but did indicate that personal and organizational variables alone accounted for significant amounts of variance in climate perceptions.
