Este artigo apresenta uma metodologia de integração de conversores CC/CC para alimentação de lâmpadas a vapor de sódio de alta pressão. Todos os circuitos propostos apresentam correção do fator de potência e alimentam as lâmpadas a partir de uma forma de onda quadrada de baixa freqüência, com o objetivo de evitar a ocorrência de ressonâncias acústicas. Os conversores propostos para efetuar a etapa de correção do fator de potência são buck, boost, buck-boost, flyback, sepic e zeta. A etapa de controle da corrente da lâmpada é efetuada por um conversor flyback composto de um enrolamento primário e dois secundários, os quais comutam em baixa freqüência de modo a aplicar a forma de onda adequada na lâmpada. As etapas de correção do fator de potência e de controle da corrente da lâmpada são integradas e compartilham um mesmo interruptor, de modo a reduzir custo e complexidade do reator. Uma técnica de integração de conversores, denominada grafted switches, é utilizada como metodologia de integração dos conversores propostos. São apresentados os parâmetros de projeto e, a partir destes, um procedimento de projeto dos circuitos propostos é desenvolvido. Resultados experimentais de todas as topologias propostas e uma análise comparativa entre as mesmas são apresentados.
