Computer program REPES, which has been used in treating dynamic light scattering data for eight years but never published, and the algorithm used within it are described in detail. A list of papers quoting REPES and a brief discussion of suitability and performance of regularizing methods in inverting Laplace transform are given.
Ah&&-Normal coordinate analyses heve been performed on molecules with the 8mide group using fome aonstants transferred from N-methylacetamides and polyamides. The molecules involved were hexemethylenedipropiontunide, N,N'-dihexyhulipamide, N,N'-dihexylsebactide, some N-&ylamides, and some Edeutemted derivetives of nylon 66. In some molecules the dependence of frequencies on torsion angles about C-C(=C)or N-C(=H,) was studied. Dispersion aurves were obtained for nylon 6 and nylon 66. The agreement between observed and celaul&ed fkequenaies is good in most cases, end a complete or nearly complete assignment of i&&red frequencies hes been established.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
