Impurity-induced Raman scattering spectra of monovalent (Cs+, Rb+, T1+) and divalent (Pb++, Sr++, Ca++) centres in potassium halides are presented. In the caseof the divalent impurities different spectra are found for associations of one divalent impurity plus one vacancy and aggregates of such associations. Contrary to the monovalent defects these impurities cause a strong Alg spectrum. The Raman scattering cross sections of the T1' and Pb++ impurities are much stronger than those of the other defects (Cs+, Rb+, Sr++, Ca++).Durch Fremdionen induzierte Ramanstreuspektren fiir einfach (Cd, Rb+, T1+) und zweifach (Pb+ +, Sr++, Cat +) positivgeladene Zentren in Kaliumhalogeniden werden.vorgestel1t.Bei den zweifach positiven Zentren werden unterschiedliche Spektren fur Assoziationszentren und Zentrenaggregate gefunden. Diese Zentren zeigen im Gegensatz zu den einfach positiven ein intensives AIg-Spektrum. Der Raman-Streuquerschnitt der isoelektronischen T1+-und Pb++-Zentren ist weit groDer als bei den ubrigen (Cs+, Rb+, Sr++, Cat+).
For a systematic sLudy of the isoelectronic series of s2-type centres the absorption bands of some missing centres are measured. Thin layers of alkali halides doped with monodisperse HgO or CdO are formed by quenching condensation. Single crystals of alkali halides are doped with Bi++ ' . In addition of the common bands of s2-type spectra B i t + + shows a strong I)'-band. I n the isoelectronic series -like Au-, HgO, TI', Pb++, Bi-+--the difference in excitation energies between centre and free ion is nearly proportional to the ionic charge.Fur einen systematischen Vergleich der optischen Higenschaften isoelektronischer Rcihen von s*-Typ-Zentren werden die Absorptionsbanden cinigcr fehlender Zentren gemessen. Es werden Alkalihalogenid-Schichten mit HgO-bzw. CdD-Zcntren durch abschreckende Kondensation hergestellt und Alkalihalogenid-Einkristalle mit Bi' ' + dotiert. Zusatzlich zii den bekannten Banden dcr s2-Typ-%entren zeigt Bi + -+ cine starke D'-Bande. I n den isoelektronischen Reihen -wie Au-, HgO, TI+, Pb'+, Bi+T+ -finden wir eine lineare Verschiebong der entsprcchenden Anregungscnergien der Zentren gegenuber denen dcr freien Ionen.
