The objective of this paper is to present the synthesis, the design, and the measured results of an eight-pole self-equalized quasi-elliptic superconductive planar filter for a satellite input multiplexer. These filters placed at the entry of the amplifying channels allow to select a part of the total band. They are narrow-band filters (< <1.7%) around 4 GHz with a high selectivity in order to optimize the exploitation useful band. A new design is developed using cross-loop resonators and a square patch, to annihilate the undesired couplings between the various elements.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
