pect them to be quite characteristic for this compound. Again, only large-scale testing with better-resolving chromatographic systems could prove or disprove the practical value of this approach; however, several patterns obtained so far appear promising. Figure 12 shows three of them, i.e., those of dieldrin, , '-DDT, and methyl parathion. The methyl parathion, a weak electron absorber, shows a definite decrease in response at zero volt; yet no product is detected under the present experimental conditions.
