Continuous 48-h treatment with C1-inhibitor provides safe and effective inhibition of complement activation after reperfused acute myocardial infarction and may reduce myocardial injury.
Study of Nuclear States in 186Re Excited by the (n, y)-ReactionPrompt and delayed y-y-coincidences were measured after slow neutron capture in lSSRe by use of Ge(Li)-detectors. New isomers were found at 99.4 keV (7"1/2 = 27 ___ 7 ns) and at ~ 330 keV (T1/2 = 17.4___ 0.7 ns). The evaluation of coincidence data established 10 rotational bands with band heads below 700 keV. The level scheme is discussed in detail: Nilsson assignments are proposed for the band configurations, and calculations of Coriolis mixing and 7-transition probabilities are presented which reproduce the experimental level energies and transition intensities very satisfactorily.
The half-lives of the intrinsic states at 1,285.8 and 1,502.2keV in as4w have been measured in the decay of lS4Re m to be 8.33 3-0.18 ~ts and 2.35 3-0.I0 ns, respectively. These half-lives determine absolute gamma-ray transition probabilities of eight transitions and yield upper limits for three transitions. The decay scheme of lS4Rem--+ls4W is improved through measurements of delayed gamma-ray spectra with a Ge(Li) detector. Spin and Nilsson model interpretations are discussed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
